Yummy Gluten Free Wrap / Wrap Sans Gluten

Today I am introducing an “healthy” product, gluten-free and vegetarian. It is  a great alternative to bread: the Norigami Wrap, by Michel de France. It is available on Amazon and on their website. They have different favors, like sesame seeds, poppy or chili flakes and the wraps are either made of soy or pea.

It is hard to find good bread in the US and most of the deli bread contain sugar, high corn fructose syrup, a lot of sodium, etc. So instead of making me a sandwich for lunch, I am now eating a wrap.

And when friends come over, I make thinner wraps that I cut in small pieces that are easy to eat. For my vegeterian friends, I use salad, avocado, tomatoes, etc.

So here is a very easy and simple recipe to make. Your friends will love it!

Norigami wrap
Lettuce
Cooked chicken breast  (I buy the ready one for salads)
Mayonnaise
Curry powder
Sundried tomatoes

Wash the salad and pat dry it (the leaves need to be dry or the wrap will break as it is very thin). Finely chop the chicken (or blend it if easier). Mix about 2 to 3 tablespoon of mayonnaise with the curry powder (to taste). Add it to the chicken. If needed, add more mayonnaise or curry.
Place the lettuce on one side of the wrap and add the chicken mixture on top of it. Chop the tomatoes and add on top of the chicken (you may also mix the tomatoes with the chicken directly). Roll the wrap tightly as if you were making makis (sushis) and cut in small pieces (see picture). Serve right away!

They have different options, you can get sesame only, chili only, both as a pack, chia seeds and they even have a new one I haven’t tried yet made with pea flour instead of soy.
